BRUCE G. HANSEN, Director of Flight Safety and Accident Investigation, Origen Aviation:
has extensive, world wide experience as a consultant and hands on manager in maintenance, training, certification,
route study, operations, and aircraft sales, purchasing and leasing. During twenty-three years service as an Air National
Guard fighter pilot he flew twelve fighter models, accumulated four-hunded hours of combat time and was awarded Air Medals,
Distinguished Flyiing Crosses and the Silver Star.
At age twenty-eight he was offered, and accepted, the position of Captain and Flight Instructor at United
Air Lines. He is rated in nine Air Carrier models ranging from the DC-3 to the Boeing 747. He functioned as Line Captain,
Flight Instructor Trainer, Aircraft Program Manager, Standards Captain, and as CEO of a foreign Flag Carrier.
The Origen team believes that Public Air Travel is "inherently safe" and that accidents occur, not by one
cause, but by a series of additive (each preventable) errors.
We are dedicated to identifying potential error and changing environments that allow it.
When tradgedy strikes we will hold those responsible, accountable and prevent re-occurence.
